@checkervest incredible how good we have it here in cyberspace. Nothing we do will ever make any sense to anyone ever again after the lights will have gone out in some years. We have the freedom to fuck up in every conceivable way and wow, do we use it!

@checkervest sorry, just read your bio and maybe that was talking about computers, but I prefer to think of it as talking about future archeology. Would like to follow, won't talk about computers again I hope.

@hllizi sometimes I make myself sad thinking about how we’re not really leaving physical records, other than a few letters from friends I have zero physical records of most of my friendships for the last fifteen or twenty years thanks to a lot of our time being spent online, but also maybe it’s good that we’ll have very little impact in this way
