@lapis honestly sounds like he was pretty canny, the letter’s like “I trusted you again and you burned me again! I sent my servant through enemy lines multiple times and you keep sending him back empty handed!!” Like Nanni why are you still trying to buy copper from this man, come on. Ea-Nasir had a good scam going

@checkervest as someone who works in supply chain sometimes: you gotta get what you can get sometimes. Suppliers for some items are just all like this.
