Drove to Penang this morning, first long drive w my wife, and also my first vacation since having Mocha in my life and no one’s home 😭😭😭 I can see on the camera that he’s just loafed at our porch, looking out the gate waiting for us to come home - when we wouldn’t be till Monday 😭 He hasn’t eaten from our auto feeder either - I’ve seen him eat from our neighbours’ bowls they’ve set outside with no one around but with us specifically, he’s so used to us being tgt w him to accompany him eat that he just almost never eats or never finishes if we’re not there w him. Anyway, I miss him so much and I can’t wait to be home 😭

arrived back in KL at abt ~7.55pm or so earlier. super knackered AND sunburnt (lobster nose and cheeks and back), and regretting not taking leave for tuesday too, but i'm glad i chose to extend my stay till Monday cos the traffic today was perfectly smooth. some parts of the drive had heavy rain tho. --- edit: also Mocha welcomed us home!!! i think we were apart for too long (4 days lol) cos he was kinda shocked at first when I was calling for him lmao. AND the fancy auto feeder we bought for him, specifically due to this trip, has been useless cos he didnt eat from it whatsoever (really need to teach him to eat food we put out for him, without us there to accompany), INSTEAD the only thing the feeder's been feeding this whole trip was our local neighbourhood squirrel lol. that squirrel literally finished ~30g bowl of kibbles in the span of those 4 days. the water fountain we got for Mocha has been doing wonders tho, he drank from it everyday instead of drinking from our pond or some random puddle.
