Considering how messed up current world is, I'm expecting a team based in Canada to win the Stanley Cup...

I'm not old enough to remember 1993 Stanley Cup finals. So it's "normal" for me that Usonian team full of Canadians wins it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1993_Stanley_Cup_Final
