@BigShellEvent @uncoolmouse If you've never played EO this is not a spoiler, but it's not just the lore. the entire layout of the dungeon is a 1:1 recreation of the 5th stratum from the original EO, even the music is Shoji Meguro's orchestral version of the original chiptune track by Yuzo Koshiro
I knew nothing about this before playing it, and as I was mapping out the dungeon I was like... "wait a minute..." and it slowly dawned on me
blew my mind. coolest part of Metaphor imo and still makes me smile when I think about it. a real nod to the fans
