Vaia, for us, was a tragedy. It hit hard in 2018, devastating our region, destroying our forests and causing fatalities. When you hike in the #Dolomites you still see the scars: fallen trees, devastated valleys, and the European spruce bark beetle that came after the storm and that's eating our trees.
