My dad and I dropped off some old furniture I wasn't taking down at the dump, and we just made it in time before they closed. I actually hadn't been to one before and it was a bit confusingly laid out, but it was neat. I also spent a couple hours removing the residue from the sticky pads that I used to hold up a bunch of foam panels to be used for some sound dampening (honestly, results are inconclusive if they did much). Tried not to damage the paint or mess with the wall, so it was mostly just kitchen sponges and elbow grease to rub that stuff off. The heat gun trick did not work and Goo Gone may not have been much better than the way we did it, but it came out well enough. Now my thumb has a big callous on it though lol
