@technomancy my solution as a Firefox user, for websites like Dan's, is to press F9 (caveat: does not work for everything, but visibly improves a lot of stuff, and sometimes bypasses silly, JavaScript-based paywalls)

@mia yeah, reader-mode is a workaround for bad design and I'm glad to have it, but it would be better if a workaround weren't needed
