@mia yeah, reader-mode is a workaround for bad design and I'm glad to have it, but it would be better if a workaround weren't needed

@technomancy you could probably modify the Style Unstyled extension to suit your needs, unless your goal is to avoid using extensions if it is, I think I heard tell of magical files inside the Firefox user profile directory that you can use for these overrides, but alas, I cannot recall what they were
