@Alexjusino no this does not explain where the MainActor comes from.
What is "SWIFT_DEFAULT_ACTOR_ISOLATON" set to for your app target in the Xcode build settings?

@mattiem Sorry I took a break. So it looks like @MainActor and it looks like I'm on Swift 5. that I know for sure, I haven't changed that just yet. I know I should.
