@feff @Extra_Special_Carbon I have to add, getting things to run on Wine from scratch has always been very hard for me, so kudos for those that compile recipes that makes it easier for the rest of us. Wondering --Feff do you have some web resources to recommend? How do you get your way around all the options?

@gabriel @Extra_Special_Carbon I have relied a lot on WineHQ's AppDB entries, Bugzilla, and usually just some time searching for error messages + winehq + program name with the time limited to 'in the last year' Wanesty's guide to getting Affinty to work on Linux (https://affinity.liz.pet/v1/1-intro/) has given me some ideas of things to try via winetricks for others (like getting vcrun2022, dotnet35, dxvk, vkd3d as a base), but a lot of it is down to experimentation. And if all else fails, I usually try the Virtual Desktop mode - which can fix a lot of graphical glitches. Often if the software developer has been so kind to outline all the unusual dependencies, that can help figure out which winetricks verbs to run.
