@gourd @zerodogg Tried installing Gentoo on a thinkpad last night, got it booting and connecting to the internet but stopped short of getting a desktop environment installed. The whole thing was exhausting and blowing a couple hours plus without even getting a GUI going bummed me out. I don't think I'm made for Gentoo. Not ruling out another try someday when I've got more energy and optimism but right now, nope.
