Stopped off in a parking lot to eat a quick snack, and it is apparently the pickup site for a mobile food pantry, and wow! Talk about organized chaos!
There are cars going every which way, but a volunteer/staff member directing traffic clearly has an order to everything.
Also, kind of surprised at how many people are here to pickup. I know there are a lot of people in need in our area, but the visual is something else.

There are five or six lines of cars, like on an expressway toll stop, each of them backed up 10 or so deep, minimum. It spans half the parking lot, which is quite large. And the lines keep moving up but more cars keep arriving. I am grateful this exists and it is clearly doing necessary work. But quite sobering to see, and feels... Ominous somehow, when combined with how precarious the economy is.
