You were focusing on the handshake and the eye contact and didn't absorb my name, right?" "Yes?" "That's perfect. Welcome aboard. I'm Joel, by the way" "Oh thanks. Joel. Cool. Not gonna forget that any time soon, am I?" (Joel is sporadically referred to as Josh by coworkers for the rest of the season)

The opposite of this one just happened to me IRL, I came back after a much-needed week off to discover nobody had had the time to cover for me in any meaningful way and I suddenly had an extra week of work to do that was already a week old

@timixretroplays I have excellent news for you about working in a game development studio, but it becomes terrible news once the studio is successful and Money People arrive. Please don't use that as the twist for season 2.
