@hardpenguin13 is it the difference between art and illustration? Art ideally generates a strong emotion in the artist, illustration aims to generate a strong emotion in the viewer/customer. Some (indie game) devs are artists, some illustrators. Some of the most lauded games are made by artists, but for consistency illustration is more successful.
