maybe where you live. closest train station is an hour away from me. closest bus stop is an hour away from me riding a bicycle would make my hour long commute *two* hours. if I drove to a bus stop and rode a bus the rest of the way to work it would *still* take me two hours. it's always a black or white solution with you people and you never think of the grey area. dare I say at least 50% of the US population falls into the grey. if a solution fails to accommodate for more than half a population it's not a solution, it's just ineffective.
