So OVH support was supremely helpful /s
Basically that line of servers is too old and doesn't support vRack (which apparently is marked as "private networking bandwidth" on the overview) and told me to get a newer generation server (so far, acceptable).
So then I asked whether there is another way to get more IPv6 IPs, because I really only care about that part, they again told me to get a newer server.
I really don't get how "this is our cheap and old line of servers" is any kind of justification for handing me a single comical IPv6 IP, with no option for more.
This feels like a joke, a bad one at that.

Now, do I a) do what I usually do with services that do comical stuff with IPv6 and just dump them or b) build this one with a different networking config and make do with this, because after all it's just a backup server and for the few jails that I might run on this the single IP would technically be enough?

@jana@social.jsteuernagel.de I have multiple OVH servers too and this has been consistently annoying. I even found this issue on their roadmap that they said would be fixed in 2025 but I haven't seen any news of it so far. https://github.com/ovh/infrastructure-roadmap/issues/240
