🔨 Hack of the day.
The solution was to take a JPEG of text, convert it to a PDF, then OCR it, rather than OCR'ing the JPEG. 🤷

@webology reminds me of a recent bug at work with hard coded file extensions... It helps to recognise that all computer systems are fundamentally broken
