At the same time, I do not write people off completely in some cases and in others I know it's too harmful for me to engage these specific people. Being deadened to exceptions or the human on the other side is closer to what AI wants us to be like, low empathy, robotic, and not a good standard. 5/

This goes also for what concepts like widening the tent to be more inclusive means. If it means letting in rabid eugenicists who happen to seem to be anti AI, well, that's actually narrowing the tent by threatening all the people first affected by eugenic policies. 6/
