@ChrisMayLA6@zirk.us That long decline, which I think a lot of Americans must feel in their bones, even while not being able to articulate it, is in large part the appeal of the MAGA "movement" and why it connects with so many. It lets them lay the blame for that decline on others, whether that is China, immigrants, godless liberals, elites, globalists - a barely concealed euphamism for Jews, LGBT. It is inarticulate raging with an inarticulate demagogue as its figurehead.

@ChrisMayLA6@zirk.us There is no strategy within MAGA as to how to return America to greatness or even a definition of what made America great to begin with. It is just thrashing about and persecution at a grand scale, which only hastens the decline. There is no reinvestment in science, education, industry and infrastructure, grand social and prestige projects, etc.
