Just to get back to this, I set this up on my ipad. Conclusions: - it is luckily easily reversible with three taps on the powerbutton - only around six apps have been adapted for this mode - apps like Podcasts, which is also a standard Apple app, are not adapted for this mode and offer a jarring experience with how much is going on in them visually - there are some very obvious layout bugs that show Apple introduced it and forgot about it subsequently All in all a disappointment!

@Anneke I have a few elderly people in my environment that need bigger text when working with apps (on their Android phones). You can set this in the system settings, and it works -- but you can see that the app makers did not take this into account and the results are really jarring. App accessibility is still in its infancy, it seems.

@Anneke That is indeed disappointing. Thanks for investigating and sharing your findings, I was eager to know as well and also had reservations about how easily reversible it might be. Thanks for sharing!
