@adamchainz @sarahboyce @djangochat @nessita @wsvincent I DO think having the LTS is good as an insurance though… say a disruptive change did occur, it gives the ecosystem room to breathe, and heal that. So keeping it on 👍
(That I don’t use it is because such changes have been managed by the API stability, depreciation, and backport policies successfully in recent years, and that is projectable forwards.)

@carlton @adamchainz when the LTS is no longer supported... presumably, they upgrade. I don't see the difference. When they upgrade release by release, it's less painful. Brush your teeth, don't wait until you need to have a root canal 🤷♀️ But realistically, to make this change, we should do some kinda listening tour for the LTS to LTS folks and then show that release by release is not that much work. I am, of course, very biased because I want to use the new features asap 😅
