@petrikas Feels like the difference between a record and art. I guess you could process the JPEG to look pretty much like the developed RAW, but nevertheless, this is the best illustration yet of the power of RAWs. (I'm a film photographer and have pretty much relied on JPEGs for the past 15 years!)

@carusb I agree. I call it "scanning" vs "photography". I'd probably attribute the result more to the 'creative control', as basic JPG processing can only get you so far, as it's trying to record (as you put it) as many "things" as possible without much attention to what might be "pleasing".
