@pathunstrom I mean, it's tough to find a robust program that does all of those things, which is why I still use, but I am personally trying Gram soon to see how well it does. It's Zed without the baggage. https://gram.liten.app

  • @pathunstrom *still use PyCharm. It's not a priority for the Gram folks to provide Windows binaries, but it seems like if you're willing to compile it yourself (which may knock this recc. into the trash, and I would understand), there might be profit?? I just am clueless what else might come close, so if you find a candidate, I'd be really interested to try it as well.

    @tunafishtiger Okay, Gram looks like it's got potential. Someone's even trying to get a windows build together. Thanks for pointing in that direction.

    @tunafishtiger @pathunstrom I also came here to mention Gram as an option. So +1. Note that installing plugins requires some fiddling, it can install any zed plugin but you need some rust toolchain stuff available on PATH
