@lazysupper Did you watch the series?
I did not - was quite disappointed they did that...wasn't signed up to whatever channel it was on.
The opening scenes of the 2nd movie rushed through intervening content before the main section of this new "chapter" in the story. The characters are the same and the quest remains the same!

@AnthoDerv No, even though my wife and I both liked the movie, and could sense that it was the start of a trilogy, the 15-hour series was a no-go. 😵 Such a weird thing to do. I've never seen any movie/show switch formats for the immediate continuity. And then it switched back for the 3rd installment! 🤯 wtf. So they don't even finish their quest in the first "trilogy"??
