I watched The World's End again. It still holds up astonishingly well, especially with the current state of England over a decade later. It didn't had a great reception compared to the other Cornetto trilogy movies that Edgar Wright did, but this movie is still worthwhile for writing a lovely story about a bunch of friends coming together for closure's sake and then some (even with their flaws and regrets). The sci-fi parts are humorous, but they become even funnier with that whole AI and mass immigration trend looming worldwide. There's also hardly any brown people around the time of filming the old British towns and pubs. All of the Cornetto movies that Edgar Wright directed are great, although my personal favorite is still Hot Fuzz. I have much more to say about this, but I don't want to spoil much because I highly recommend it.
