I’m trying to figure out how Davinci Resolve works to start making some videos. I haven’t even started adding anything to the timeline yet, as I’m having trouble understanding how to work with the media tab. I have managed to create a video with it before, but I’ve forgotten everything. This is going to take a while.

@ollej that's pretty much the best description of any video editing tool. they all have the same weird UX with the same weird behaviors. i suspect everyone just copies some old editor that copies how videos were physically edited in the past century. the result is the UX that makes sense only to someone with a lot of prior experience.
