@tuomas_h @grumpy_website The trend towards clean look lead to UI design optimized for screenshots with minimalist aesthetics not usability. Fashion and trends come in cycles and repeat every 20-30 years. iOS 7 introduced minimalist flat design in 2013. So we can look forward to skeuomorphic interfaces and buttons with 3D shading in 2033-2043, so just in time for the 2038 bug fixes. Avantgarde users are already building this future. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DxEKF0cuEzc&pp=ygUVSHlwcmxhbmQgY29tcGV0aXRpb24g

@tuomas_h A lot of people mentioned that to me in Telegram! I understand the problem, but somehow I don’t trip too much over it. I guess I am just very careful in general with UIs and wait a second after moving my mouse before clicking anything just in case. Forced habit :(

@tuomas_h @grumpy_website Worst offender for me is the iPhone Mirroring app. You have to hover the window and wait for the title bar to animate in just to move the window—making it a slow, two-step process. Same for the Home and App Switcher buttons. It’s so frustrating I barely use it. Doesn’t help that my main use case is listening to podcasts at my desk, and the keyboard play/pause key doesn’t control audio from the mirrored phone. 😞
