@dentangle ok, of git-send-email I'm really not a fan of :D. I've seen notable kernel maintainers failing to properly apply my patches, causing encoding issues with my author name (but maybe we can blame my parents for that :P). And then Linux net wants custom [PATCH] tag formats (and I often forget, if it's supposed to be [PATCH net-next v2] or [PATCH v2 next] or similar... and then Patchwork and CIs etc. still try to somehow figure something out from that... imo it's a patchy patch mess :D.

    @dentangle or I again and again forget to add the "v3" etc. to the compose email subject... and in the worst case one noisily has to resend the whole patchset for a minor, formal mistake. In Git web forges one can easily fix such small things afterwards with only minimal noise. And I'm saying that as someone who has submitted most of their OpenSource patches via git-send-email :D.
