Last year, my son & his BFF made history as the first 2-person team in OR’s #CivicsLearningProject & the US’s #CenterforCivicsEducation history to win the #WethePeople competition, an honor later bestowed as a co-win with their state “rival.” It was a privilege to see the knowledge, camaraderie, & professionalism of kids from all 50 states. This year, my son has been coaching those “rivals.” All participants bring hope in dark days.
