@rowlandm there are a few. And yeah one in particular... In general its wild to me that the mindset of "pay money upfront and maybe read hot garbage" is totally fine. Or litter your stuff with ad-surveillance-malware. ...but the idea of "hey read this and contribute what you want" is anathemic. It's like some kind of society-wide abdication of power. Maybe my value set is pretty orthogonal to mainstream thinking 😬.
