@so_treu @ranja yeeeeah like I've been thinking a lot lately about how for the rest of my life I'm gonna be reliant on the medical industry because of my disabilities and obviously medical discrimination is not something transition can negate so like... no, misandry or transmisandry is not what I have to deal with. that is not the right word. misandry is somewhere between a joke and a coping mechanism, my problems are real things that can kill me, not someone's vent shitposts hurting my feelings

    @coeurl @ranja thisssss omfg don't get me started on how the popular narrative around transition is one that assumes the trans person is able bodied and has not ever and will continue to not ever experience medical discrimination The big problem is the way that the popular understanding of what it means to be trans, even within trans communities, is based on the experiences of white middle class able bodied AMAB people specifically.
