@raven
KDE user myself, and the default install had snaps for Firefox, Thunderbird and firmware-updater. The first two I could have been okay with but I have no idea what the long-term implications of deleting it along with snapd are.
PopOS seems fine on the laptop so far, FWIW. snapd was there but nothing used it so I could just do an `apt remove --purge` on it.

@suetanvil I've been vanilla Debian for nearly three decades. Forcing snaps on me might get me to reconsider, but I don't imagine that happening.
