Im quite partial to using old iPads. Get an anti-glare screen overlay and they make an awesome e-reader.

@sleepy62 nice, the kobo’s have an e-ink display that reads like paper I love reading outside it doesn’t glare or reflect

@sleepy62 I used to use Calibre ebook management tools, news downloader tool. It would download specific newspapers do some document conversion and offer them as a local web server. Could get a really diverse well targeted set of news, viewable from my very ancient ipad, (web browser still worked) Most of the "Canadian" PostMedia print wouldn't work with this. but lots of other. Mastadown now gives me as much or better targetted media, depending on who I follow https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/news.html
