@sleepy62 I used to use Calibre ebook management tools, news downloader tool. It would download specific newspapers do some document conversion and offer them as a local web server. Could get a really diverse well targeted set of news, viewable from my very ancient ipad, (web browser still worked) Most of the "Canadian" PostMedia print wouldn't work with this. but lots of other.
