the prego dinner table recorder is dumb but i keep seeing people mad about it not reading the article. it doesn’t even have an internet connection, you can choose to connect to a website and upload your dinnertime conversation. this is essentially a cheap conference recorder rather than a spying device

they made a thing that is functionally a less expensive and simpler tascam. I think it would be kinda neat if they made it cheap enough to like, bundle with a 2 pack of sauces and actually distribute quite a lot of, because it is extremely privacy respecting and if you wanna send storycorps your dinner table conversation go for it.

@timmy Yeah, I saw the headline and photo and got all angry, then read the story and realized it was more lame than evil. We’ve just gotta figure out a way to get more people to read past the headline
