@froztbyte it's not bad that he decided to take the route of admitting some "mea culpa". hope to see that more often. good for him. doesn't auto-magically make him an angel, but it's genuinely good to see that he didn't double-down. the essence, i think, of the reaction in this thread (and elsewhere) continues existing even if he admits he phrased things poorly. the essence is: real autonomy is going to result in the privileged losing the privilege to feel welcome & validated in every space.
