Most Britons are pretty "live and let live" sorts, and often the restrooms are single-occupant or they're up to modern code and have a single-occupant accessible restroom that doubles as a gender-neutral one. In fact, the last time I got to go out on my own, I went to a queer bar in Soho known for its sapphic clientele and was promptly chatted up by a nice gal from Birmingham.
