I have a 22" monitor close to myself, and a Samsung TV as a second monitor the other side of the room if a want to use that for viewing YouTube Nebula etc = just works
I upgraded to Mint 22 from 21 and that too just worked - remembering how to install anything on Red Hat (just before it split into Fedora for free versions) 20 years plus ago (for almost anything) and the need to manually download and install multiple dependencies using the terminal - I don't think there is any comparison with how it works today to then.

@cockneylaurie@mastodonapp.uk @ftranschel@norden.social I can only speak to my own experiences this time around and they have been far from smooth. I'm glad things are working for you, but the last time I tried this ten years ago was only marginally more painful than this time.
