@xyhhx realized I should've replied to @moss's post—the website linked doesn't mention those services so is a bit out of date. Also the Gerstein is great, but there are limited beds and you need a referral: https://gersteincentre.org/our-crisis-services/crisis-beds/ You stay there for a few days, you can come and go as you please except IIRC you are supposed to come back at meal times, there is privacy, there are people to talk to/resources if you want but it's not mandatory. At least that's how it worked many years ago when I stayed there. It is more like "staying at someone else's house for a weekend but you don't have to actually socialize" than an institution.
