@Flipboard @rudyfraser.com @mike @blackmastodon loved hearing about the experimentation, people coming together and the pushback on the company. when people talk about community on the #SocialWeb, I get a bit confused. imo these protocols are about social media. attention. public by default. if we want more closed spaces, hopefully we can use a single ID but imo a different tech is necessary. maybe #matrix. and I think talking about it this way leads to conflicts over moderation.
