@ravensrod@mstdn.social The nearest charity shop to me, I suspect gets overstocked books from the publisher... picked up brand new HB Clown Town by Mick Herron (he of Slow Horses fame ) for £2.50 ... went in the other day and they had a signed 2nd copy... lots of new paperbacks as well for £1.50. love a bargain
