@loops @actuallyautistic Yeah sadly, the same people who think "can you explain it to me" is too adversarial will definitely think that is...but I don't think that should stop anyone from saying it!

@loops @actuallyautistic I often use ‘you are tearing down your own poorly formed argument, not mine’ for people who twist my words into something unrecognizable to me to justify trashing it. Who create strawmen instead of think a minute and engage authentically & to understand. I try not to waste my time further with them once I see it. They are people looking for a fight. I don’t understand what you mean by ‘say what you want or get what you say.’
