Found out why my GitLab instance is so slow: Facebook has been scraping my repositories for 3 weeks now, apparently at the top of what GitLab could deliver on that small VM with just 2 CPUs and 1 thread each. And more, but all others are small fry in comparison. Well, not any more. For now, no access any more except for a very few select addresses. I'll be thinking of something more measured shortly. So long, and a happy Fuck You, Crawlers!
