RE: https://det.social/@lostgen/116440911374333138 I can see the quoted "Google effect" (no longer keeping lots of details on one's head; although with other search engines in my case) in myself, and I am not totally happy with that. It is not that different from the past with online manuals at your fingertips, though. But an LLM effect, by outsourcing cognitive tasks like writing to LLMs, where people cannot remember what they "wrote", and feel no ownership of their "writing", that is *really* bad.
