Honestly I wouldn't even have anything against LLM's and AI more generally if it was like alchemy, that is, trying to create a homunculus that is inherently adept at all things arcane and alchemical, as well as personal transformation and transmutation. I think that would be neat and a very noble goal. The issue I have is that it is (often very explicitly) about more efficiently exploiting and subjugating people. The business plan of all these unprofitable AI companies is that they can destroy society before they run out of money. It's pure evil.
