@fosserytech yes, they don't understand how FOSS works, but they don't care.. "saving the children" is BS excuse to restrict information, once it's enforced on the OS level, next will be the browser level, then the app level, then your favorite app store level, then suddenly all websites and services will query that information from your browser, OS,, whatever.. and if it doesn't provide that information... well sorry we can't verify your age so you can't enter (and you're an adult!!) so it's pointless to go about it with this approach, "if only we can make them understand, then they'll spare us FOSS users!" they won't stop, they'll keep coming back using the same excuse.. they'll go after the normies that use centralized services (Windows and MacOS) and they'll achieve the same result eventually, Linux will implement AV so we can see content, so we need to cut the crap, once and for all, we need to be firm in our stances and say no is a no > i mean you can of course do what every content creator says that you write a letter to authorities and express your disagreement, but they will push it through anyways because they want full control over us I completely agree lastly, I didn't say delay.. I meant not complying at all, we already know who's gonna comply don't we? It's the soulless big tech corpos that don't stand for anything, but we can turn this into a both civil liberties and human rights court case at the same time, we do this right thru disobedience, we'll end it ("sAvE tHe CHildReN") once and for all.
