@levi "we need to be firm in our stances and say no is a no" Yeah agreed, this is what my stance is for my own projects FosseryWeb and Burner Todo, they will never request any age information from the browser/OS/whatever "but we can turn this into a both civil liberties and human rights court case at the same time" You think that courts aren't corrupt, will listen to you? I wouldn't be so sure about that. Sure, there are maybe a few judges with a normal thinking, but they are the minority, they don't have much telling. Judges are controlled by the same power as the lawmakers who make these shitty laws. You basically run to one head of the dragon for help after the other head blew fire on you

@fosserytech that's a good analogy, although that's not the plan, the plan is to ban laws that try to associate IDs with hardware, once and for all, if we don't aim for that... then playing this cat and mouse game will only result in having one winner and it won't be us I don't see laws as.. they're made for me (I'm a none coder cypherpunk - code is law -), laws are made for them, they're the ones who should follow them first.. what I was pointing to is that the FOSS community see it the other way around (which explains their compliance)
