Are businesses responsible when their products don’t live up to the “claims”?
I am looking for a raised planter for my deck. This one is made of metal. I was curious to know how much weight the planter could manage. I can guarantee it can’t hold the stated weights.

@theteapixie@mstdn.ca because of Monsanto, who claimed that "telling the truth about their products" would negatively impact their right to obscene profits, the Truth in Advertising law was essentially destroyed. So, not any more....
