@theteapixie@mstdn.ca Monsanto tried to sue France (the COUNTRY) because France had the good sense to ban Round-up. They LITERALLY claimed that FRANCE was impeding their business and they should be allowed to sell their poison in France in spite of a law banning said products.
They literally claimed that their right to sell their products trumped the sovereignty of another country.
